Teşekkür ederim for the opportunity for Mutiara Perlis to propose three key initiatives to advance President Erdoğan’s vision of stronger Turkic-ASEAN ties:
🌐 Turkiye-Malaysia Leaders’ Working Group – Co-chaired by both nations’ Transport Ministers, with the first meeting proposed during the ASEAN Summit in October 2025, Kuala Lumpur.
🌐 Turkiye-Malaysia Connectivity Fund – A $500 million fund to enhance freight rail links to Malaysia by 2026 and support Thailand’s double tracking by 2030.
🌐 Silk Road Summit – An annual summit alternating between Istanbul and Kuala Lumpur, beginning in 2026, to mark the ASEAN Corridor’s full operational launch.
